When I think of any kind of cooking/baking during the summer I have a few pieces of criteria I would prefer a recipe to follow:
-very easy
-no actual oven time involved
-deliciously yummy

Allow me to introduce you to my most loved dessert of all time! Peanut Butter Pie!

This peanut butter pie recipe meets all of my criteria. 1.) It is very easy to make - in fact it will probably take you anywhere from 5-10 minutes to prepare. It is the perfect dessert to make if you need to whip something up quickly. 2.) There is, in fact, zero baking/oven time involved. When it is hot outside, the last thing I want to do is use a hot oven to cook something. 3.) If you like peanut butter, then I guarantee you will think this pie is deliciously yummy! Everyone in my family loves it and gets excited whenever they know I’m making it.

Peanut Butter Pie Ingredients:

Peanut butter pie ingredients, cool whip, cream cheese, peanut butter, Jiff peanut butter, pie crust, chocolate pie crust


1 oreo cookie crust
3 oz. softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
½ cup peanut butter
8 oz softened cool whip

 

Peanut Butter Pie Instructions:

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and peanut butter. Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer will work best. I do not recommend that you try to stir everything by hand.                     

    Mix all ingredients, mixing bowl, food processors, smooth, smooth batter in bowl

  2. Fold in the softened cool whip and mix everything together.

  3. Pour the ingredients into the oreo cookie crust and spread everything out into the pan evenly.                                                                     

    Pour batter in pie crust, place in freezer, freeze pie, freeze overnight, make sure it is cold, no bake peanut butter pie recipe, cold peanut butter pie

  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  5. Serve and enjoy!!! (for an extra delicious addition add some cool whipped topping or whipped cream on top!)

This peanut butter pie could be enjoyed year-round, but it is the perfect summer dessert to make for any cookout or barbeque. In fact, you might need to make two pies, because I’m sure it will be a hit with your friends or family and everyone will want a slice. Serve it on a beautiful tray and it's that easy! I served  min on the Winter 2021 Tray and it looks perfect!
