I love a good “how to style” post, don’t you? I like options, versatility, and options…did I say that already? ;) So today I’m going to share a few of my favorite ways I’ve styled the darling wood bee from the summer 2021 box! I

’ll bee honest, I wasn’t completely sure what I was going to do with this bee when I first saw it but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love! It’s the perfect finishing touch to any mantle decor, nightstand, front porch…the possibilities are endless! Here are just a few I love:

Layer on a nightstand

I love layering art and framed photos on my nightstand, something sentimental and calming to look at before I go to bed. However, sometimes layering pieces can leave some more covered up than I’d like. This is one reason I loved using the bee here. I wanted to be able to see the majority of my family photo. By layering the bee on top I’m able to accomplish a more sophisticated look without loosing any of the photo! Win win!

Style with a wreath

I loved the idea of the bee filling a circular space and my 14 inch boxwood wreath was the perfect size! I attached it to the wreath by manipulating a paperclip, super easy and a cinch to disassemble later! It then fit perfectly in a space on my mantle below my favorite Decocrated floral wood frames.

Use as a decorative trivet

I love the look of this as a table centerpiece. I kept it really simple in this styling and just added a basic fresh floral arrangement on top, such a simple but impactful display! You can also add a table runner, some tea light candles, and even some greenery to take things up a notch as well.

Which of these three stylings was your favorite? We’d love to know!! Or share how you’ve styled your bee in your home!

xoxo, Becca
