Hi friends! It’s me again, Becca from @drivingmissmacey! I’m here to bring another easy, affordable hack! I love this one, I must say. :)

The Glass Pumpkin from the Fall 2023 Box took my breath away when I opened it. What a stunning piece, right? It’s pretty perfect as-is but in my mind, I immediately saw some faux flowers or greenery on the top…maybe a bow. I had to try it!

All you’ll need for this hack is 1) a hot glue gun, 2) faux flowers or greenery of your liking, and 3) a ribbon (totally optional).

To start, I trimmed my greenery to the size I thought would fit best on top of the pumpkin, then I arranged them around the stem, securing them with hot glue.

The best thing about hot glue is that if you mess up you can pop it off and try again. Such user-friendly DIY material! You can’t mess up.

Once the hot glue dried and I liked how everything looked, I cut my ribbon.

I used what I had on hand (this light purple ribbon) but I feel something bolder like black would have looked amazing too! Again, use what you have or what feels right for your style! So many ways you can go with this, it’s so fun!

What do you think? I feel like it adds such a fun and unique look to the piece! And the best part? If you get tired of it, it’s super easy to remove! Win/win in my book!

Comment below what you would use for your pumpkin DIY! We love hearing your ideas!

xoxo,
Becca
