Hi Decocrators, it’s me again! I’m so happy to be back here on the Decocrated blog. You may have caught my last collaborative post with Little Pink Envelope all about Decorating With Warm Tones – we had so much fun with that one, so go check it out if you missed it! Today, I wanted to share the ways I’m using the absolutely darling pieces from the Spring 2021 Box to bring spring into my home! This spring feels different in so many ways. Obviously we are in the middle of a crazy time in our world and things have been heavy. For my family, as I’m sure with many of you, there have been lots of change.

Spring, to me, is all about the promise of new and I always love decorating with that in mind.

The two main things I try to incorporate when transitioning from winter to spring decor are 1) florals and 2) pops of pastels. Luckily, each of the pieces in the Spring 2021 box incorporate at least one of those two things! This makes the transition job so much easier!

The first little spring corner I want to show you features my three-year-old daughter’s new work of art. We had a head of romaine lettuce in the fridge, yep lettuce… and decided to use the end of the salad bundle as a stamp. Have you ever tried this? Such a fun (and easy) project. I think it turned out beautifully. Florals plus a little pop of pastel with my gorgeous handblown glass votive by Glassybaby, and boom, you have spring.

I then used this same floral & pastel combo to rework my mantel. I paired the floral wood prints and the book stack from Decocrated together and I’m obsessed with how this little spot turned out.

The final spot I wanted to share with you is this spring table scape I pulled together. Again, I focused on the transitional aspects I shared earlier, florals and pastels, to really bring out spring. For this setting I used the Decocrated wood table runner. I love this piece because there are endless possibilities! I plan to use this for appetizers one day when we are gathering again but for now it makes a stunning centerpiece.
