Spring has finally arrived! The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and it’s time to get out into the sun and feel the warm breeze on your face. Spring is about new beginnings and fresh starts, so why not take this opportunity to cross some things off of your Spring bucket list? Here are some great ideas of things to do this spring!

1. Spring Cleaning

SPring cleaning, cleaning your house, clean your kitchen, cleaning your rooms, spring clean out, cleaning out your space

Spring cleaning is a great way to kick off your spring bucket list. I start by making a list of all of my household chores and then prioritize them based on what needs to be done right away and what can wait until later in the spring. Once you’ve got your tasks sorted, I just go by each room and mark it off as I complete it. It may seem like a lot of work at first, but once you get started, you’ll find that spring cleaning doesn’t take as long as you thought it would.

2. Have A Picnic

Have a picnic, picnic outdoors, outdoor picnic, enjoy outside outside picnic, picnic blanket, cute picnic idea

Spring is an ideal time to plan a family outing. A picnic can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be, but no matter what, it’s sure to bring everyone together for a fun day outside. This is one of my kid's favorite things to do as the weather warms up. We have a special picnic blanket and we pack easy finger foods that don’t require a lot of work. The great thing about picnics is that they’re easily customized: whether you have kids or not, you can still have fun with them! If you don’t have any kids of your own, you could even invite some friends over and make it more of a potluck-style event. No matter how many people are involved, there’s something special about spending quality time outdoors—and that goes for adults too!

3. Decorate Your Home For Spring

Decorate for spring, refresh your home, decorate with Spring decor, refresh your spring decor, decorating your home with spring decor

You can also consider decorating your home for spring.  When you think of spring, what comes to mind? If you’re anything like me, then your mind is probably flooded with images of flowers and birds chirping. And if you’re looking for ways to spruce up your space without spending a fortune, then there are easy spring decorating ideas that will bring color and life into your home without breaking your budget. The Decocrated home decor subscription box is the best option. You get seasonal decor delivered right to your door without ever leaving the house. It has been the best thing for me to decorate my home with farmhouse decor on a budget.

4. Celebrate Easter

Celebrate Easter, easter-egg hunt, decorate for Easter, easter basket, easter living room, easter egg decor

Spring means it’s time to get in an Easter celebration mood. It’s a fun time in our home from dyeing eggs, an egg hunt, Easter baskets, time with family, and a good meal. It’s always something fun for my family to look forward to as we wait for warmer weather. I love putting together an Easter basket full of goodies that I know they will love. Sometimes we will take a visit to see the Easter bunny. Seeing their faces light up is so magical for me.

5. Going For A Hike

Get outside, outdoor hike, hike with your family, hike in the outdoors, go for a walk outside, get out in nature

Spring is a great time to head out into nature and enjoy some fresh air. The winter blues are beginning to fade and I know my family is eager to get out of the house. We love hitting up some hiking trails. We will pack snacks and make a day out of it. There are various trail-finder apps available that can help you find an appropriate trail based on length, difficulty level, and even what kinds of wildflowers or animals you might see along the way. You can also check with local parks or recreation departments; many have guided hikes or educational programs during the spring months.

In a nutshell, spring is a time for a change. It’s about getting outside, enjoying nature, and taking in all that Mother Nature has to offer. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start your spring bucket list!
