Today, I wanted to show you how cute the Red Accent Rug from the Winter 2023 Box is in the kitchen! I went back and forth on where this rug would look best in my house. I think it’s the perfect pop of red for the holidays, so I wanted it to be somewhere central in my home.

It would also be a beautiful addition to a bathroom, powder room, laundry room/mud room, or entryway! It’s also durable enough to be at your front door - I would layer it underneath a doormat. That would be darling! You cannot go wrong but let me show you in our kitchen!

I have a kitchen without a central island, so what’s cool about the throw rug in my kitchen is that everyone can see it from the main living room! I have light floors, and I love how it pops off the light wood. The texture the rug provides is perfection! I was worried I’d need to change some of my other Christmas shelf decor because it wasn’t red, but I think it all goes together well!
