It is the time of year to start transitioning from winter to spring décor. If you are anything like me, you want to hang on to the winter décor for just a little longer, but the good thing is…you can begin with baby steps. All it takes is a few minor adjustments to usher in spring. I always like to start with the front door.

Typically, in early spring, I will begin the seasonal transition by replacing my winter door wreath with a spring-themed wreath. I found a beautiful wreath adorned with bright spring flowers and I added the set of beads from the 2022 Decocrated Spring Box. It is the perfect wreath to carry me into the Easter holiday and when Easter is over, I will hang it back on my door until the summer. You can add flowerpots filled with spring flowers on each side of the door. Finish the look with a brightly colored doormat.

My next favorite way to transition winter décor into spring décor is with candles. Candles are always a wonderful way to begin introducing fresh spring scents into your home and phasing out the winter pine scents. Candles are not only a décor staple, but they also help to create ambiance in your space. I updated my console table with the pedestal with birdcage and the wood candle holders from the Fall 2021 Box. I placed spring-themed, lilac-scented candles on top of the candle holders. Also, take notice of the adorable ceramic birds inside the birdcage. The obvious place to put the ceramic birds is in the birdcage, but there are so many décor options with the Decocrated ceramic birds. I suggest you have fun and nest them in unique areas throughout your home.

Changing out flower arrangements is another effortless way to transition your décor from winter to spring. Simply trade the heavy winter greenery with a vibrant spring-colored arrangement. Swap out pinecones for lovely and light florals. I paired a floral arrangement with the glass vase and the lamb’s ear stems to create a sweet little floral setting. I attached the art print to the wooden arch, and it enhanced the spring theme. Did you catch the lumbar pillow from the summertime box in the background?

When it starts to warm up outside and things begin to thaw out, it is so nice to bring that outside feeling inside your home. I like to set up bright, fun little vignettes throughout the house. It helps to bring new life to the sometimes-blah winter blues. Always remember one of the absolute best things about Decocrated subscription boxes is the ability to mix and match your past décor items with your new décor items. As you can see, I brought the wood arch from the Summer 2021 Box back to life by attaching the spring box art print to it.

Transitioning from winter to spring is all about amplifying the seasonal change with a few spring statement pieces. Have fun with the transition and add your own unique touches!
