I plan to stay warm and cozy during this chilly winter season with the help of layers and textures. Changing throw pillows is one of my favorite ways to add little bursts of color, layered with texture to the spaces in my home. Adding soft pillows to your home décor makes relaxing indoors during the winter months more enjoyable and fun. The winter season is upon us, and the sun has begun to set earlier in the evenings. I was so excited to see the new throw pillow covers in the Decocrated 2021 Winter Box! The pillows are double-sided, which adds so much flexibility for styling. The evergreen fabric is perfect for the winter season and easily transitions into Christmas décor. If you are a pillow lover like myself, I am sure you have an excess of pillows lying around. If you want to add some winter décor vibes to a room without overdoing it, try adding the evergreen side of the pillow to a chair. Place your favorite throw underneath, and it will immediately add winter-themed color and coziness! I paired it with a fur throw to add warmth to my favorite chair. This side of the pillow says, it is wintertime, without screaming… “it’s wintertime!”

The other side of the 2021 winter box pillow cover is a modern black and white plaid. This color combination and pattern is so classic and yet adds so much versatility for styling. This pillow can be paired with many different color combinations and textures. I utilized the plaid side of the pillows and paired them with the two existing sofa pillows. The black and white against the monotone color of the sofa provided instant visual interest. I just love how this plaid color combination coordinates well with so many color palettes.
