Does it get any better than Christmas decorating? I don’t think so! I’ve been looking forward to decorating our newly remodeled bathroom since we moved in this past March! Our bathroom is one of my favorite blank slates in the house. The black hexagon flooring + the white cabinets, countertops, and vanity really make decorating easy - I don’t have to stick to any particular color scheme, I can mix it up every year if I want to! 

                                                                                                                                                         

The first thing I like to do is pick an anchor piece. This year, I wanted it to be the adorable sleigh ride sign from the Christmas 2022 Add-on box! Typically I love a natural wood frame (like the sign has) but I was feeling like I wanted something darker to pull in the dark flooring in my bathroom so I decided to paint the signs wood border black! I love how it turned out! The contrast of the black frame with my white bathroom countertops was exactly what I was going for!                              

                                                                                                                                               

Next, I selected my accent pieces. I wanted to use my Target smocked trees and black bottle brush trees. I arranged these around the Decocrated sign. They added such a great depth! 

Next, I wanted to add a pop of color so I pulled out my bright Christmas red wrapping paper and wrapped a little empty box I had on hand. The finishing touch was a gold bow. I added this into the scheme and I really feel like it pulled the look all together! 

                                                                                                                                                                    

Above my toilet I knew I would also need something Christmassy but I didn’t want to add too much to the color scheme. The perfect addition? The classic wreath from Decocrated’s last winter box! Perfection! I did add a black and white checkered bow to the wreath for extra interest! 

What do you think? I love how it screams Christmas…but it’s not overwhelming the space!
