Behold, Pumpkin Spice is among us. I don’t know about y’all, but I’ve noticed that it comes sooner and sooner every year. But when it does, the first sign of fall is in the air. I’m on the west coast, so the true “color-changing leaves” fall never really comes, but it’s nice to experience it through our Pumpkin Spice Lattes and other fall flavors.

Now for some of us, aka the 21+ group, pumpkin adds a little bit of flair to our fall drinks. Whether you’re a wine, vodka, or tequila drinker, it’s always good to add some adversity to your go-to drinks. Here I’ve laid out some killer recipes to take the edge off of fall and enjoy some cozy pumpkin spice White Russians, or some exciting apple cider mimosas.

1. Pumpkin Spice White Russians

This may be dating some of you, but I only recently watched The Big Lebowski, and now the White Russian is notorious from that movie. I give you the pumpkin spice White Russian with the easy 4 ingredients with a little fall spin! All amounts should be added based on your taste!

  • 2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Kahlua
  • ½ oz. Pumpkin Spice Creamer
  • Graham Cracker (for Decoration)
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Straws

After trying this drink, it’s definitely strong in the beginning, but gives you that warm pumpkin spice aftertaste that we love! Overall, 8/10!

2. Apple Cider Mimosa

The best mimosas have a dash of apple or orange juice, but what about some apple cider? I wanted to add a little fall twist with the mimosa and made it a comfort drink! We’ve all had the sparkling apple cider (maybe at one point as a substitute for champagne to pop the cork), but here’s a mix of both!

  • 4 oz. champagne
  • 4 oz. of Apple Cider
  • Sugar/Sprinkles (for Decoration)

After trying this drink, as a champagne drinker myself, I found it very easy to drink! I love mimosas, but this didn’t even taste like champagne. I did add a little to it, though, 8.5/10!

3. Paloma Spin

I’ve already discussed my obsession with Ina Garten, but I know she makes killer cocktails. She has a frozen Paloma recipe, but I wanted something a little quicker and easier (meant for a college student). I whipped up my own Paloma and wanted to test it out!

  • 3 oz. Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 oz. White Tequila
  • 1 oz. Lime/Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • Ice

Overall, this had a nice tang, and I really enjoyed it! 9/10!

I hope you can live through the fall drinking season and enjoy using your new Decocrated items to your advantage! I know my cat seems to enjoy them!

For now, signing off!
