Who doesn’t love an EASY DIY project? I know I do. Something simple but with big impact, that’s what I look for when I’m planning a DIY. When this wood arch came in the Summer 2021 I knew I wanted to do something different with it! I’ve been really into decorating with lighter neutrals recently, so I thought going with a softer color for this project would be fun!

Here’s what I used:

⁃ Command Strips (I used the velcro type)

⁃ Spray Paint (I chose a blush pink)

⁃ Vase or 1/2 galvanized bucket

⁃ Florals of your choosing (I got mine at hobby lobby)

⁃ Painters Tape

Step 1: Tape over with painters tape or remove the hardware from the wood arch. I chose to tape over the hardware because I thought that would be simpler. It’s was pretty easy! Just cut the tape to fit.

Step 2: Spray paint the piece from about a foot away so as to not get any clumps or drips. Let dry. Then do a second coat. Let dry.

Step 3: Using command strips, attach your vase, galvanized bucket or whatever you chose to hold your flower arrangement. I used the velcro command strips for this.

Step 4: Add in your floral arrangement and hang your piece!

What do you think?? I styled it up on my mantle and I just love how it brings some elevated style to my living room!
