Just like that, folks, 2021 has come and gone. Wow, time flies! To say farewell, I am here to give the year a final review – Decocrated style. This past year, Decocrated released four incredibly successful seasonal boxes, each filled with home décor treasures; however, what makes Decocrated so special are our Decocrators (what we call Decocrated’s subscribers) who creatively incorporate each piece that they receive into their homes. This blog will highlight some of Decocrated’s favorite uses of items from each seasonal box. Without further ado, I give you Decocrated 2021 Boxes in Review! Enjoy!

First up: the Spring 2021 Box!! This box had some really cute goodies; some of these included a flower print pillow, a wooden table runner, a planter, and a stack of three books. The team’s favorite use of Spring’s 2021 box was...drum roll please! Lauren Routt’s #DecoHack of the two framed flower prints. Let me show you all a before and after:

Lauren repurposed the frames into jewelry trays! How unique and creative! If you’re curious how she did so, click here to read her blog! This shows how endless the options for the items in each box are; everything is so versatile! Keep on #DecoHacking, Lauren!
On to Summer 2021! This box is near and dear to my heart because it is the first one I received when I began writing for Decocrated. That, and it had some pretty awesome pieces I still have around the house today, such as an elegant table clock, a double-sided pillowcase, a wooden arch, and a boho basket!
Our favorite use of an item from Summer 2021’s box goes to Morgan Cranston, most commonly known by her Instagram handle, @the_patientmom. We loved her use of the wooden honey bee! She hot glued her bee to a DIY summer door wreath. We can’t keep our eyes away! Check it out!

Fall 2021’s Box was so warm and fun that it was hard not to FALL in love with it! Between the wood beads, the moon mirror, the set of autumn and Halloween hand towels, the mini wood ladder, the two candle holders, and the metal pumpkin, our Decocrators couldn’t get enough.
Becca Brodin’s clever and functional use of the mini wood ladder as a jewelry/accessories holder was one of the most innovative uses of a Fall 2021 Box item! It is perfect for your closet or vanity to be able to see all of your accessories. Kudos to you, Becca!

Finally on the list, Winter 2021! This box was so festive and truly embodied the spirit of winter and the holidays celebrated during it. The box included a postcard print, two reversible pillow covers, a frosted wreath, three woodland animals, a driftwood and metal tray, and a pine tree frame. Each item was selected with lots of love from the Deco team. Seeing how all of the Winter box items were styled by Decocrators warmed our hearts and brought smiles to our faces.
We especially love what Cheryl of @mycoastalchiclife did with the frosted wreath! Cheryl hung up her wreath in her home’s entryway on her coat hooks; how fun! What a perfect piece for guests and family to see when they first enter your home! It is also such an easy and simple way to make any room a winter wonderland. Brilliant, Cheryl!
