
It is the season of giving! Giving gifts is one of the best parts of the holidays. Finding that perfect gift, making a homemade present, or gifting an amazing experience is the best feeling! Not only is the gift itself important, but so is the presentation. Wrapping, bagging, or hiding presents is essential for the holidays! Why not take it one step further and create the perfect DIY gift tags, using the Set of 3 Wood Ornaments from the Christmas 2022 Add-On Box that will elevate your gift giving this winter!
1. Sharpie
Materials:
- Set of 3 Wood Ornaments
- A Sharpie
The Set of 3 Wood Ornaments already comes with the perfect holiday details of a candy cane, reindeer, and Christmas tree. Since the back is blank, it's a perfect spot to place a gift message. Simply grab a sharpie, it can be gold, silver, black, etc. and hand write a message on the back. This is the perfect way to personalize you gift tag while making it look elevated.
2. Cricut
Material:
- Set of 3 Wood Ornaments
- Cricut Machine
- Vinyl
- Transfer Tape
- In your Cricut Design Space, decide on a design the size of your the Wood Ornament
- Make the design by loading your vinyl onto the mat, into the machine, and pressing Go.
- Remove the excess Vinyl
- On the front of the design, firmly apply the transfer tape.
- Next, peel the design off of its backing.
- Firmly apply the design by smoothing it on to the Wood Ornament. Peel and remove the transfer tape.
- Attach to any gift or Christmas tree!
3. Stencil
- Set of 3 Wood Ornaments
- Stencil
- Acrylic Paint
- Mod Podge
- Foam Paint Brush
Head to your local craft store and find a stencil you like. You can also find some online or create your own stencil using a Cricut! Place the stencil where you'd like on the Wood Ornament. Using a foam paint brush, dab a light coat of Mod Podge over the stencil. After it dry completely, using your acrilyc paint, begin painting over the stencil. Painting about 2-3 coats. Let completely dry and you're ready to start decorating!
