I’m closing the door to winter and opening it up to spring by getting my front porch back in order. During the cold, winter months my front porch is usually pretty bare and gets little use short of storing all of my Amazon deliveries…. So I am super excited to unpack my throw pillows and other decor so I can spruce up my porch for spring! Here are some of the things I think are essential to styling a spring front porch.
1. Furniture

If you have a spacious front porch I think having a good set of furniture is a must. I have a set of gray wicker chairs and an end table set up in the corner to the right of my front door. It is great for sitting and watching my kids play in the front yard and fills in some space.
2. Doormat/welcome mat

I love a good welcome mat, and I switch them up often depending on the season or holiday. For spring, I have chosen a rainbow welcome mat and underneath is the rug from the Summer 2020 Box. This is a perfect way to create a cheery and bright spring porch!
3. Plants

I think a little greenery on your front porch goes a long way. Since I can’t seem to keep real plants alive, I’ve opted for a faux plant that I placed on the blue planter from the Spring 2021 Box. It sits on top of my end table near my chairs. An alternative to greenery is fresh flowers. Try adding potted flowers to your spring front porch for an added touch!
4. Front Door Wreath

Every front door deserves a beautiful wreath! I made this wreath last year using the wooden bee from the Summer 2021 Box. Here is a quick tutorial if you want to make one yourself!
5. Throw Pillows

Cozy up your space with bright throw pillows! I am using the square throw pillow covers from the Summer 2020 Box, with the yellow side showing as well as the lumbar pillow cover from the Summer 2021 Box.
6. Decorative Accents

Fill in some of the remaining space with decorative accents like a wooden sign, metal lanterns, or the boho basket from the Summer 2021 Box!
Once the weather here in Ohio decides to consistently warm up, I’ll add a hanging flower basket or two, and then it will be complete.
I hope this has given you some of your own spring porch ideas! Follow me on the accounts below to see what I’m styling next!
