Hi, friends and Decocrated fans! It’s Morgan from @the_patientmom and I am so excited to share with you how I am styling one of my favorite pieces from the Fall 2022 Decocrated Box - the framed Autumn wood sign. I love using wood signs to decorate my home, especially during the fall! This piece is the perfect farmhouse sign and fits right in with the vibe of my home (which I am currently calling boho farmhouse chic, hahaha) and I love that it looks similar to a letterboard. It is the perfect addition to my stock of fall decor. Check out the 5 different ways I styled the fall framed sign in my home and let me know which is your favorite because I can’t seem to decide on my own!
Front Entryway
My front entryway is one of my favorite spaces to display my seasonal decor. I often switch up the pillows and wall art, and adding seasonal greenery and garland helps make the space “pop”. I have hung the framed Autumn wood sign above my wooden pegs, on which I have hung some fall-colored felt ball garland, wooden beads and the hanging basket from the Fall 2020 Decocrated Box. I’ve filled the hanging basket with some faux fall floral stems and on the entryway bench is a metal pumpkin, orange “Fall Sweet Fall” pillow and another throw pillow featuring the pillow cover from the Summer 2020 Decocrated Box.
Dining Room Buffet Table/ Entryway Table
Decocrated’s blue hues always go so well in my dining room and help to tie in the pieces with my original home decor. To style the fall framed wood sign here, I have placed it on top of my buffet table and it is actually leaning against a photo frame to prop it up! Alongside is a white ceramic vase with fall greenery. On the other side of the buffet table is the wooden tray from the Winter 2019 Box, on which I have displayed
the wooden frame from the Spring 2021 Box with the Fall 2022 Box art print and the wooden pumpkins from the Fall 2022 Box. I balanced everything out with a variety of faux pumpkin decor.
Built-in Shelves
I love decorating my built-in shelves; there is just so much you can do with them! I replaced my regular letterboard with the framed
Autumn wood sign on the bottom shelf, and surrounded it with some colorful pumpkins and framed photos of my twins. I added a touch of fall to the other shelves by adding more pumpkins (can you tell I love pumpkins?!). You’ll also notice
the wooden candlesticks from the Fall 2021 Decocrated Box on the top shelf. I am thinking I may end up changing out the white candles with orange candles.
Living Room Wall
This is an extremely simple way to style the fall framed wood sign. I have hung it on one of my living room walls near the gold metal shelf from the Summer 2020 Box, which I have filled with faux fall berry stems and some faux greenery.
Kitchen/Stovetop
Last but certainly not least, I styled the fall framed
Autumn wood sign in my kitchen on my stovetop (disclaimer: always remove decor from the stovetop before cooking anything!!). I have layered the wooden sign in front of
the wooden ladder from the Fall 2021 Box on which I have hung
the hand towel from the Fall 2021 Box. On the other side of the wooden sign is the glass vase from the Spring 2022 Box filled with more fall florals. I finished up the look with a candle and a white ceramic ladle holder.
I THINK am going to go with the built-in shelf styling for this wooden sign but I would love to hear which setup is your favorite?!
