I am so excited about writing this blog post because it involves talking about one of my favorite times of the year, Christmas! When you add in another favorite topic of mine, home decor, then you have the perfect pairing. Decorating my home for Christmas is one of my favorite things to do. I can still remember as a little girl how magical my childhood home felt at Christmas time. I want that same magic in my home for my children too! The great thing is it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Decocrated makes it so easy to decorate your home for every season/holiday with their decor box subscription. The Christmas 2022 Box was full of so many goodies! Today, I want to share the woven pillow and a few ways I will be incorporating it into my holiday decor.

Entryway

Most of the time when we have guests in our home, one of the first places their eyes see is the entryway. My home doesn’t have a designated entryway so I have made one with a hall tree. Let’s be honest, it has become the catch-all for shoes and jackets. When it doesn’t have those things on it, I love to decorate it and make it look cozy and welcoming. The woven pillow in this year’s Christmas box definitely accomplishes that. I love pairing pillows with different textures and designs. I love that it is two-sided with faux velvet on one side and a woven design on the other. I’m able to easily change it up. Since I am decorating for Christmas I added a green faux velvet pillow with it as well.

Bedroom

I don’t know about you but my bedroom is my place to unwind and relax. I want it to feel warm and cozy. A place to climb under the covers and watch a Christmas movie. Sounds dreamy, right? I love how this woven pillow does that. The softness of this pillow accompanied by the comfy blankets on my bed are the perfect combo this holiday season.

It’s a great way to change up your bed pillows from every day to add in some holiday decor. I love that it's simple and doesn’t take much effort. I also put a Merry Christmas pillow with it. You can add as many pillows as you want with different textures and colors to finish up the decor in your bedroom.

Living Room

Do you have a room in your home that all of the family hangs out in? That room in my home is our living room. At the end of the day, that’s the room we all flock to and hang out in. Whether we’re watching tv, playing board games, or hanging out just talking, the living room is a special room in my home. With how special it is I want it to feel extra festive during the holidays. I love that Decocrated provides such great pieces that always fit perfectly in with my other decor. As well as complimenting pieces from previous year’s boxes. I took the woven pillow and paired it with last year’s plaid pillows. I love the fun hint of red among my neutral decor.

Christmas is a joyous time of year shared with family and friends. Nothing gets me in the holiday spirit more than decorating my home. Decocrated helps me accomplish that. It’s the easiest way to get festive holiday decor delivered right to your front door. The woven pillow is such a great versatile piece. With the two sides, you’re able to continue using the pillow throughout the winter season. From my family to yours, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
