Hey Decocrated Family! It’s me again, Becca from www.drivingmissmacey.com. It’s forever raining where I live here in Seattle…yep, the dark weather is upon us. I always get the urge to decorate for Christmas right around this weather change. All the more reason to get excited about that festive holiday decorating, am I right?

Today I’m playing around with the beautiful winter wreath from the Winter 2021 box! I’m not exactly sure where I’m going to put it so I’m going to style it three ways and you can help me decide! I love this wreath because it’s neutral, so it’s so easy to style almost anywhere! Wreathes in general are some of my favorite pieces in my décor arsenal. They’re circular, duh. But I love how, because of their shape, they look great in places with lots of straight lines; like on shelves and mantels or on dressers and doors! Today I’ll share three of my favorite spots for this special piece. Let’s get started!

Styled on your mantel

You knew I would…I love a good mantel styling. ;) I can’t get a new Decocrated box without immediately pulling down what’s on my mantel and trying to create something new. I wasn’t sure if I was going to use the wreath as a focal point or layered in with some other items but I love it here as a focal point! I added some of my faux trees and the wooden village from last winter…goodness I love it! It’s festive but also neutral, which my neutral-loving heart appreciates.

Styled on a door in your home

Whether it’s a pantry door, a front door, or a laundry/mud room door, this wreath is the most perfect addition. I can’t say enough good things about the way this piece shines in this setup! Add a ribbon to the top and you have something really special and festive hanging around your home! I loved the way it looked on a white door but imagine how beautiful this would be on a glass door, a black door…really any color!

Styled with a mirror

Y’all!! The wreath is the same size as the moon mirror from the Fall 2021 box! It’s our lucky day! Yet another reason I love Decocrated, these pieces just work together so well! You can secure these pieces together in a couple of ways. For supplies, I used tape and just taped the wreath edges (near the foliage so it’s easily hidden) to the mirror, super easy! You can also hang them separately but still overlay them. Imagine: nail to hang the mirror and then a slightly higher and longer nail to hang the wreath right above. Either way, I love how it turned out!

Goodness, I love each one of these - how do I decide? This is one of those pieces from Decocrated that I wish I could duplicate! I want it all over my home! Which way was your favorite? How would you use this piece? We’d love to hear about it in the comments!

Thanks for coming along on this little style session!

Until next time.

xoxo,

Becca
