I LOVE THE SPRING 2022 BOX! I just want to shout it from the rooftop. Everything about it is just perfect and the pieces are just so versatile. I love them all so much I am having a hard time committing to a place for each. Take the wooden pedestal for instance. That could honestly fit in anywhere in my house; from my bathroom to my kitchen or kids’ room. Wood pedestals are able to be styled anywhere, so I decided to set it up in three different locations in my home and then give myself time to think about where it should ultimately “live”. Below are the three different ways I styled the pedestal:

 

1. Dining Room Buffet with Cage & Ceramic Birds

My vintage buffet table in my dining room is one of my favorite pieces of furniture to decorate. I decided to set the pedestal and birdcage (also from the Spring 2022 Box) up just as such; like a birdcage. Before placing the cage on the pedestal, I assembled the lovely blue ceramic birds from the Spring 2022 box next to one of my favorite floral scented candles. I then placed the cage on top of the wooden tray from the Winter 2019 Box. I styled a set of the blue decorative beads around the cage handle and then laid the other strand on the tray.

The colors look gorgeous with the rest of my dining room decor and have really gotten me into the spring spirit. Now if only the temperature could stay above freezing here in Northwest Ohio. 

 

2. Bathroom Counter

I am so excited about this idea. My marble bathroom countertops always seem so bare and need some decor. I styled the pedestal in the corner next to my soap dispenser and then placed the glass vase and lamb's ear stems (both from the Spring 2022 Box - see what I mean about this being a fantastic box??) on top of it.

I then rolled up one of my decorative hand towels and placed it next to the vase. I grabbed another candle from my extensive collection - this time sage and citrus scented to fill up the remaining space on the pedestal and wrapped the decorative beads around the base. Doesn’t it look so great?

 

3. Bar/Liquor Cabinet

Third but certainly not least, I tried decorating the pedestal out as an entertaining piece. I cleared off the top of my small liquor cabinet and placed the pedestal on it. I added a bottle of wine, a wine glass and the vase with lamb’s ear stems (again, haha). On the other side of the cabinet, I placed the wooden ladder from the Fall 2021 Box with a beige and white striped hand towel placed on the rungs. I finished off the look with a metal cocktail shaker and stirrer and oh, what do you know…another candle.

I think this really looked great with my wood pallet wine shelf and wine glass display. I think the pedestal would also be great as a vessel for a charcuterie board or other party finger foods.

 

Ultimately, I think it is going to stay on my bathroom counter for now. I am really pleased with how it made the space feel more warm and welcoming. Which setup was your favorite?
