Whether you have a small space or a large space, you can find a way to add a little rustic charm to your decor with a hanging shelf. I love using shelves to add decor to different spaces in my home. They’re perfect for seasonal decor or even everyday decor. The versatility of a hanging shelf lets you use it in many different ways. The hanging shelf in the Decocrated Summer 2022 box is such a great piece. It’s a perfect size and easily movable to use in different areas of my home. Today, I’m sharing some styling tips for the top three places I use the hanging shelf in my home.

Entryway shelf styling, entryway shelf decor, add ceramic birds to shelf decor, floating shelf styling, welcome sign, faux flowers, floral pot

The entryway of a home is the first space you see when you come in. This room should feel inviting and warm. In my home, it’s the first thing someone sees whenever they come into my home. Knowing that, I want my entryway to be welcoming. I think I achieved that by adding the hanging shelf with a small floral arrangement on the wall in this walkway. I also try and pick up small decor such as signs or ceramics. The Decocrated Summer box does come with the cutest sign and some greenery/floral in a neutral color ceramic pot. I don’t want it to be too busy so I go for a more simple look. A simple tip for decorating is using odd numbers, especially with small spaces. Try styling a shelf with 3-5 home decor pieces of varying heights.

Currently, my bedroom is a work in progress. For some reason, I find that my bedroom is one of the harder rooms in my home to decorate. I appreciate how much Decocrated has helped me to bring decor to that space. The hanging shelf is one of those perfect pieces that are versatile enough to use in any room. Adding shelving to a little corner of my bedroom has been a great addition. I love decorating it with the “My Happy Place” art card from the Summer box on the shelf with the faux book stack to create a visual interest. You could even add candles to bring a more relaxing aesthetic to your bedroom.

I love my coffee! I am so guilty of having way too many coffee mugs. Having shelves around my coffee bar is a great way to store mugs and put up cute coffee signs. It truly is the best way to add that farmhouse/industrial feel to your decor. During the Summer, I tend to lean more towards brighter decor such as yellows and blues. The lemon sign from the Summer box goes perfectly with the lemon decor theme that I like to use during this season on my coffee bar. Lemon decor is definitely in this season and it makes me feel happy and think of warm sunny days setting up my childhood lemonade stand. If you aren’t a coffee drinker, you could use the hanging shelf for a tea or wine bar.

To sum it up, a hanging shelf is a versatile and affordable way to add a touch of industrial or farmhouse style to any room. The shelves can be used for various purposes, such as storage or home decor. I tend to decorate with neutral or brighter colors in the Summer and I always go for a simple layout. You can also use hanging shelves in conjunction with other home decor pieces to create a unique and stylish space. The Decocrated does such an amazing job at giving us decor pieces that we can keep using across all the different seasons. You won’t want to miss the chance to have this decor piece in your home!
